Meine künstlerische Produktion ist der Ausdruck meiner Definition von Kunst als dem Bereich, in dem ich meine Freiheit der Meinung, der Zeit und der Gestaltung auslebe. Ich glaube, dass alle Künstler*innen ihr eigenes Lebensumfeld widerspiegeln. Mein Prozess ist still, langsam und akkurat, mit gründlicher Recherche und sorgfältiger Auswahl von Materialien und Techniken.

Ich schätze die Freiheit, nicht an eine einzige Sprache, ein Thema oder einen Ansatz gebunden zu sein, da ich an die Relevanz sozialer, zeitlicher und persönlicher Kontexte in der künstlerischen Methodik glaube. Meine affektiven, familiären, akademischen und beruflichen Lebenswege beeinflussen meine Produktion. Zum Beispiel spiegelt sich mein Hintergrund in Chemieingenieurwesen und Industriedesign in der Wahl der Materialien wider, basierend auf ihrer Haltbarkeit und Wechselwirkung mit der Umwelt. Techniken wie Stricken, überliefert von meiner Großmutter, werden ebenfalls integriert.

Diese Wege verschmelzen und formen meine Identität als Künstlerin. Überwiegend zeichnen sich meine Werke durch gemischte Medien, Vielfalt an Formaten aus und behandeln Themen wie Umwelt, Politik und Feminismus mit Humor, Sarkasmus und einem Hauch von Kitsch.

My artistic production is the expression of my definition of Art as the realm where I exercise my freedom of opinion, time, and creation. I believe that every artist reflects their own life context. My process is silent, slow, and meticulous, involving thorough research and careful selection of materials and techniques.

I value the freedom of not being tied to a single language, theme, or approach, as I believe in the relevance of social, temporal, and personal contexts in artistic methodology. My affective, familial, academic, and professional trajectories influence my production. For instance, my background in Chemical Engineering and Industrial Design is reflected in the choice of materials based on their durability and interaction with the environment. Techniques like knitting, passed down by my grandmother, are also incorporated.

These trajectories intertwine, shaping my identity as an artist. Predominantly, my works feature mixed media techniques, a diversity of formats, and address topics such as the environment, politics, and feminism with humor, sarcasm, and a touch of kitsch.

Talvez ouso ao afirmar (e simplificar) que todo artista reflete, direta ou indiretamente, seu próprio contexto de vida. Nesse sentido, minha produção artística é a expressão da minha definição de Arte como o campo de exercício da minha liberdade: de opinião, de tempo e de criação. E esse exercício geralmente se faz silencioso e vagaroso, mas minucioso (especialmente na pesquisa envolvida e na seleção de materiais e técnicas).

Faz parte dessa minha liberdade não estar atrelada a uma única linguagem, a um único tema, a uma única abordagem e muito menos a uma única regra, pois acredito na metodologia e no fazer artísticos (e científicos) muito mais pela pertinência de acordo com o contexto (social, temporal, pessoal, por exemplo).

Por esses motivos, é possível perceber na minha produção aspectos da minha trajetória afetiva, familiar, acadêmica e profissional. Por exemplo, a Engenharia Química e o Design são perceptíveis na opção por um determinado material em detrimento de outro, seja em função da sua durabilidade quanto da interação com outros materiais ou com o meio. Essas áreas também refletem determinadas opções temáticas, como a preservação do meio ambiente. A minha trajetória afetiva e familiar tende a ser refletir na escolha das técnicas empregadas, como o tricô, ensinado pela minha avó paterna e do qual sou entusiasta desde criança. Porém, essas trajetórias se entrelaçam e não necessariamente se segregam em cada trabalho, constituindo o que sou como indivíduo e artista. Mas, em suma, predominantemente meus trabalhos se caracterizam pelas técnicas mistas, pela diversidade de formatos e pelos temas de meio ambiente, política e feminismo permeados pelo humor e sarcasmo com uma pitada kitsch.
